MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
January 9, 2008
     
Call to
Order		  

Mr. Maager called the regular meeting of the Lewis Cass Intermediate School District Board of Education to order at 5:35 p.m. in Conference Room #1 of the Administrative Services Center on Wednesday, January 9, 2008.
     
Roll Call  

Members present:        Mr. Hart, Mr. Maager, Ms. Adams

Members absent:         Mr. Curtis, Ms. Simmons

Administrators present:Mr. Ostrowski, Ms. Scelzo, Ms. Forburger, Mr. Wood, Mr. Chism, Mr. Hamilton, Mr. Withers
     
Declaration
of a Quorum		   Mr. Maager declared a quorum of the Board.
     
Pledge to
the Flag		   Pledge to the Flag was recited.
     
Approval of Agenda   Moved by Ms. Adams, supported by Mr. Hart, to approve the agenda as presented.  All in favor. Motion carried.
     
Communications to the Board   None
     
Communications from the Audience   None
     
Approval of
Minutes		  

Moved by Ms. Adams, supported by Mr. Hart, to approve the minutes of December 12, 2007, as presented.  All in favor.  Motion carried.
     
Treasurer's Report  

Moved by Ms. Adams, supported by Mr. Hart, to accept the Treasurer’s Report as presented.  All in favor.  Motion carried.
     
Payment of Bills  

Moved by Ms. Adams, supported by Mr. Hart, that the Board of Education hereby approves payment of bills which includes General Fund totaling $87,239.14; Special Ed Fund totaling $264,120.47; and Food Service totaling $3,938.09.

Roll Call Vote.  Ayes: Mr. Maager, Ms. Adams, Mr. Hart

                         Nays: None

All in favor.       Motion carried
     
Adjournment  

Moved by Ms. Adams, supported by Mr. Hart, to adjourn at 5:46 p.m.  All in favor.  Motion carried.
