What's Up with the "Cellar Dwellers"?
Since the start of the school year, Sandy has been working on new student input, and trying to catch up with last
year's group to find out how they're doing. The kids have kept her busy both at Dowagiac and Cassopolis. Eligibilities
are now at 50 in Dowagiac, and 12 at Ross Beatty High. Still have to complete Alternative Ed eligibilities in Dowagiac
and Ross Beatty High Schools.
Mary has learned how to enter case notes, update case notes, update case note files in drawers, assemble Input
packages for the kids and observe Sandy at the high schools….and might I add, has graciously volunteered to keep
the WIA news page updated for Rod.
JoAnn has been working on eligibilities at Bangor and Hartford High Schools. JoAnn did such a fine job with her
presentation introducing WIA at Bangor HS they have asked her to return to give a presentation in October on "Interviewing
Techniques". The TAPPS presentation in Hartford went well, the girls showed some interest in participating.
Sue is working on new eligibilities with students at Hartford High School.
